Resourcing Gender Justice: An Embark Summit
Join social change leaders, public and private sector leaders and community change makers as we examine the broad horizon of gender justice movements and the ways that social change work and feminist leadership is resourced.
One Tuesday each month, we’ll host a conversation between an Innovation Hub member and a CARE programming team that is working in a similar space. This will be a casual gathering at lunch time that we hope will amplify the work we are doing and build deeper bonds across our community.
January’s talk will be between EARTH university and CARE’s Global Food and Water Systems (FWS) team. Based in Costa Rica, EARTH is a private, non-profit, international university supporting students from over 40 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and other regions. EARTH university Foundation is a non-profit foundation providing philanthropic support for EARTH University. CARE’s Food & Water Systems Team provides global leadership to CARE Internationals Food and Nutrition Security work. The team has a goal of improving food and nutrition security of 50 million people by 2050, and to aggressively address the injustices in global food systems.
